Literary analysis:
The examples provided do not actually use "biscotti" as a color adjective. Rather, in [1] the term refers to a type of edible sustenance carried by boatmen-guides, and in [2] and [3] it appears in product-style listings—classifying biscuits by texture as "soft" and "crisp." Although the name "biscotti" might evoke the image of a warm, beige hue in a different context, none of these instances employ it to describe a color in the literary sense.

This tab, the new OneLook "color thesaurus", is a work in progress. It draws from a data set of more than 2000 color names gathered from sources around the Web, and an analysis of how they are referenced in English texts. Some words, like "peach", function as both a color name and an object; when you do a search for words like these, you will see both of the above sections.
